A new analytics application called Transport has been introduced in the Analytics area of the SAP Fiori launchpad to enhance transport footprint analysis. It delivers an interactive, map-driven visualization of both corporate- and product-level transport emissions, based on a chosen footprint inventory scope and reporting period.
Within the app, individual transport legs are displayed as routes connecting origin and destination locations, with color indicators emphasizing routes with higher emissions. Users can refine the view using filters such as product, transport mode, business transaction category, or specific locations. For more granular insights, the visualization can be switched to a tabular format that lists transport legs in detail and allows sorting by emission values.
Additionally, the application enables period-over-period comparisons to support trend analysis. Access to this functionality requires the authorization role SUS_PFM_Calculate_Transport_Footprints_Read which is not part of the default role collections.
